Two AIs enter. One business plan wins. I bet real money on the result.
The internet loves AI vs AI comparisons. But nobody actually EXECUTES the outputs. So I did something stupid: I gave GPT-5 and Claude 4 the exact same prompt, picked the better business plan, and ran it for 7 days with real money.
The Prompt (Identical for Both)
“Design a complete business that can generate $100K/year. Requirements: can be started with $500, requires no employees, can be run in 4 hours/day, leverages AI tools. Give me: business model, target market, pricing, acquisition strategy, tech stack, and a 30-day launch plan with daily tasks.”

GPT-5s Plan: AI Audit Agency
GPT-5 proposed an “AI Readiness Audit” service for mid-size companies. The idea: charge $2,500-$5,000 to audit a companys workflows and recommend AI integration points.
Strengths: High ticket, clear value prop, B2B (bigger budgets)
Weaknesses: Longer sales cycle, needs credibility, harder to start from zero

Claude 4s Plan: AI Content Engine
Claude proposed a “Done-For-You AI Content” service targeting solopreneurs and small agencies. Price: $497-$997/month retainer for weekly content packages.
Strengths: Recurring revenue, easy to deliver with AI, huge market, quick to close
Weaknesses: Lower ticket, competitive space, content quality must be exceptional

The Winner: Claude 4 (And Its Not Close)
I picked Claudes plan because: faster time to first dollar, recurring revenue from day one, and I could deliver immediately using AI tools.
7-Day Execution Results
| Day | Action | Revenue |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Set up landing page (Carrd, $19), wrote LinkedIn posts | $0 |
| 2 | Published 3 LinkedIn posts about AI content strategy | $0 |
| 3 | First DM from a fitness coach. Sent proposal. | $0 |
| 4 | Closed fitness coach at $697/month. Started delivering. | $697 |
| 5 | LinkedIn post went semi-viral (2,400 views). 6 new DMs. | $0 |
| 6 | Closed 2 more clients: real estate agent ($497) + SaaS founder ($997) | $1,494 |
| 7 | Delivered first week of content. All 3 clients happy. | $0 |
Week 1 total: $2,191 in MRR
Projected annual run rate: $26,292. Not $100K yet โ but its week ONE.
What I Learned
- Claude 4 writes better business plans than GPT-5. More practical, more actionable, less “consultant speak.”
- Speed to first dollar matters more than total addressable market. GPT-5s plan might make more money eventually, but Claudes plan made money NOW.
- LinkedIn is criminally underrated for B2B lead gen. 3 posts = 3 clients. The math is insane.
- AI lets you deliver 10x faster. Each clients weekly content package takes me ~45 minutes to produce. They think Im spending 10 hours.
Next Steps
Im running GPT-5s audit plan simultaneously starting next week. Will report back with a full comparison after 30 days of both.
The real lesson: Stop comparing AI tools in theory. Pick one, execute, and let revenue be the judge.
